South Sudan's Crisis

An injured Refugee is treated in Bunj clinic which cares for people from Doro refugee camp and surrounding area in Bunj,Maban in the Upper Nile Blue Nile state of northeastern South Sudan, Africa.The region recently suffered from serious clashes between North and South Sudan resulting in tens thousands of people forced into refugee camps like Doro and Jamman and hundreds of deaths from the bombing of villages and clashes between rival armed groups .In the huge refugee camps disease and malnutrition kill the young,weak and elderly and with the rains threatening in late april the suffering may worsen.Goal ,the Irish aid agency working in Sudan since 1985 has been at the forefront of providing aid and shelter to Sudanese people affected by war and poverty.
